Report Examples

Reporting is an essential part of the management of HR information. Running system reports helps with the management and auditing of information. Reports can be used to help with day-today HR management and to manage processes (activities and deadlines). Reports can also be used to analyse the data recorded in a system and can be used as the basis of periodic HR management reporting.

The People Inc. system includes around 200 report templates. A further 300 report templates can be downloaded from the on-line resources area. This page provides some examples of reports that can be generated using the People Inc. system.


Absence Reporting

In the UK, around 100 million working days are lost to sickness each year (ONS 2017). The average cost of this absence is around £600 per year per employee. Put another way, each year, sickness absence is likely to costs an organisation with 175 employees more that £100000.

Monitoring and analysing absence will help to ensure that absence trends are identified quickly. Analysis of absence data can help to identify when the frequency of sickness absence is much higher than expected. It will also provide an indication of the level of disruption caused by absence, and help ensure that the correct processes are adhered to.

Appraisal Reports

Appraisals are a powerful tool that can help in a number of ways. The People Inc. time module is used to manage staff shift-patterns, collect real-time attendance information (via a range of software and hardware clocks), manage exceptions, and extract information for payroll processing. This attendance information is can also be analysed using reports.
