Working hours are calculated between the start of the working day and the end of the working. For some workers this means that a working day begins on one day and ends on another. In the UK there are regulations governing the amount of time that may be worked in a week. In some professions specific rules govern the amount and number of breaks which must appear in the day.

This tool calculates the number of hours between two times. It can also deduct unpaid breaks from the total to indicate the total number of hours which would be paid.
