Yes, the standard system includes a tool to generate organisation charts. There is also an addon tool which provides extended functionality allowing users to manipulate the reporting structure.
The system can record reporting structures in a variety of ways. Department heads and direct reports are recorded as part of an employee’s job record. The records can also capture the location, cost centre division etc. As a flexible system it is straight forward to extend what data is captured to reflect an organisation’s needs.
Yes, the system allows you to keep track of all changes to a person’s job over the course of their employment. If you wish to keep a record of previous positions held that is also possible.

An organisation chart is a simple visualisation of a hierarchy or employees. In the People Inc. system two type of organisational charting tool are provided. A standard version generates an export bespoke charts whilst the premium version includes additional features and allows the structure of the organisation to be modelled and redefined.

The chart below is created based on the data in the data table. Rows can be added and removed from the table using the corresponding buttons. When the chart is generated, no data is sent elsewhere; all the calculations needed to create the chart are performed in the web browser. The functionality to generate the chart is provided by Google and some browsers may not be compatible.
