Badge

A badge is similar to an identity card. An important difference is that a badge is unlikely to be as sophisticated as an identity card. Badges can be used to display a person’s name to help delegates interact.

A badge may also be a plain RFID card issues to staff to allow them access or register attendance. The badge usually only has a corresponding badge number printed on it; meaning in itself it does not verify that the person who possess the card is entitled to.
