Length of Service

An employee’s length of service is the time between their date of join and now. Employees may be entitled to additional benefits (such as additional leave) based on their tenure at a company. Length of service can also be used to pro rata allowances and entitlements when an employee joins or leaves a company. Some statutory entitlements also depend on an employee have achieved a minimum length of service with an employer.
