Self-Hosted

Self-hosted software allows the user to decide where it is installed; providing control over the location of the system and the data it contains. Self-hosted systems can either be hosted in a cloud, corporate data centre or within a client’s data centre.

Software typically requires a particular software environment to be available to it on the machine it is installed on (e.g., Windows Server).
