Introduction

The Employee Self Service scheduler provides a calendar view of employee-related events recorded within People Inc. This includes anniversaries and other key dates (such as end-of probation), training needs and bookings, holidays and other absence information (holiday requests, bank holidays, etc.), shift patterns, and hours worked.

ESS Scheduler

Functionality

The ESS Scheduler provides a day/week/month option for personal information, and a time-line when information for more than one employee is shown. For People Inc. time users the shift pattern and actual hours are displayed for each day. In addition, a separate view includes:

• Training information
• Absence information
• Anniversaries
• Key dates (Action List entries)

The scheduler automatically displays the availability status for each employee, and enables users to contact an individual (by phone or e-mail) via a hyperlink
